I thought this was yummy and super easy. I used chicken apple sausage and linguine because that's what I had on hand. I also added some caramelized onions for a little more flavor. Both of my little kids really liked it too (although I served theirs with carrots instead of arugula). A keeper.

This was really good! I added some other ingredients because I was really nervous it would come out bland. I used an extra clove of garlic, cut up a small onion and used an 8 oz package of mushrooms. I added some salt, basil and oregano to the mix and used fresh baby spinach instead of arugula. I'll definitely be making it again

My family really enjoyed this! I did use a lb of sausage instead and added some fresh carrots, broccoli, and snap peas like another review had suggested. Everything else was the same. It was delicious and I will definitely be making this again!

Based on the reviews I read, I modified the recipe. Instead of using regular Italian turkey sausage, I used hot Italian turkey sausage (the whole package). The grocery store only had grape tomatoes, but I don't think it really made any difference. I also added a can of diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, and garlic. I drained the tomatoes before adding them to the skillet. Also, my husband accidentally got grated pecorino romano instead of a block, but it turned out great. I think the cheese blended in with the other flavors and in was delicious. Even my 8 year-old-loved it.

I loved this recipe!! I didn't have arugula so I used green peppers instead. The trick is to let the pasta sit for a few minutes to let the pasta water soak up and make a thick garlic/evoo sauce. I will most definitely make this again!!!

Very fast easy recipe! Changes: chicken italian sweet sausage, added a whole bag of broccoli, carrot, and sugar snap peas, only used about 1/2 the reserved pasta water, shaved parmesan cheese, and yellow sunrise cherry tomatoes. Probably took me 35 minutes overall and really enjoyed it!

My entire family did not like this dish at all. There was little flavor and it was a little wet due to addition of 2/3 cup pasta water. The only thing that saved this dish was high quality fettuccine (whole foods) and sausage (whole foods). My kids asked me to never make this dish again (lol).

This was DELICIOUS and SUPER EASY! I substituted the cherry tomatoes with a 24oz can of diced tomatoes, and I used a pound of low fat turkey sausage instead of the 6oz. I couldn't find any romano cheese, so I used thinly sliced parmesan cheese, and it tasted fabulous! Thanks for the great recipe!

I love this recipe and have made it several times. I do cook the tomatoes longer than called for and use a potato masher to mash them. I also add a pinch of dried red pepper flakes for a little kick. And if you don't like arugula, you won't like this recipe. I love the stuff...it makes the dish light and fresh!

This pasta was a great sprng/summer recipie. It was very light and fresh. I loved how the vegetables were more abundant than the sausage. I couln't find turkey sausage so I used reduced fat pork sausage. I will definately make it again, but I will probably use a little less arugula.

Quick ,easy, colorful, flavorful. Used Trader Joes spicy chicken sausage and Trader Joes egg Paperadella. Potato Masher made squashing the tomatoes easier than a spoon.

I was not impressed with this dish. Everything seemed to be separate in my plate and it was hard to get a bite that captured all the flavors. It was overall pretty bland and would not make it again.

I was really excited to make this easy recipe. It was ass-backwards gross. Flavorless and bland and I'm not sure what the random arugula was doing there. Saves yourselves and don't make!

Wow this was good. I used spicy Italian turkey sausage and added some red pepper flakes. Also splurged on fresh refrigerated pasta. Had the leftovers the next morning with two poached eggs on top. Will definitely make it again.

I really liked using the refrigerated pasta for this recipe and the Italian turkey sausage I got was very flavorful. I do wish it was a little more "saucy" and would consider throwing in a quarter-half can or diced tomatoes if I made this again. I also enjoyed stirring in the arugula at the end because it gave the dish a crisp and peppery bite.

I thought this was very fresh and tasty. I used grape tomatoes, because they were on sale. I also used dried pasta and shredded romano, because I already had them at home. I will make this again for sure.

This was surprisingly good for as simple as it was. I used spicy Italian pork sausage because I don't care for turkey sausage. I also de-glazed the pan with a bit of white wine and used 1/4 cup of the pasta liquid; I felt 1 cup was excessive. CL did a great job with this one.

Very good and fast, almost no prep needed. I loved it, my husband thought it was okay. He thought it would be better with actual tomato sauce - I disagree. The romano really makes the dish.

I followed the recipe exactly. It was a good dish for a weeknight dinner. However, it needed more tomatoes. If I made it again, I would double the amount of tomatoes. The parm really enhances the flavor, and offsets some of the bitterness of the arugula.

Made this last night with just a few changes thanks to the comments below. I used one pound of Italian turkey sausage which I crumbled and then a pound of Italian chicken sausage sliced. I added about 1 1/2 cups of tomato puree, some crushed red pepper, and spinach instead of arugula. Delicious, tasty, fast meal! I will definitely make this again.

This recipe definitely gets props for speed- I think I had it on the table in less than 20 minutes. The flavor, however, was lacking. I found that there wasn't nearly enough sauce to coat the noodles, and at times felt as though I was eating an unsauced dish. I was able to find a very spicy sausage, which really saved it. The pecorino-romano is a must- great flavor and texture.
