This recipe is something special. The outside of the asparagus becomes a little crispy with a tender middle. The roasted parmesan is highlighted by the lemon zest. Simple and perfect.

I love roasted asparagus! I also like it with just a touch of balsamic vinegar as well (basically switch your acids). Yum! Always a perfect go to.

Decided to use lemon pepper instead of the lemon zest & pepper and also seasoned with some garlic salt. It is in the oven right now looks delicious!

Made this for dinner tonight along with salmon cakes. The asparagus tasted fantastic. Switched out the lemon zest for some lemon juice and added garlic salt. Also like to use as little oil as possible so I used my Misto and sprayed on a little bit of the olive oil. Great recipe, will definitely make again!

I’m not a good cook, so I’m wondering if you could recommend an approximate cooking time and how do I know when they’re done? I’ve cooked asparagus once before and it was overcooked and gross 🙁
